Over 500 homeless teens will feel the love from Starbucks as they kicked off Stephen’s Backpacks yesterday!! 50 Employees filled all of these backpacks with hats, mitts, socks, schools supplies hygiene items, candy bags and much more. The best Starbucks coffee in Airdrie provided for our volunteers and an amazing spirit of Christmas love for children filled our humble warehouse in Airdrie.
Grade three; Ethan from Nose Creek Elementary joined in and made the first backpack of 2012 with Stephen. Ethan was asked to do a project about someone who is impacting our community and he has been very touched by the work that Stephen does and so he chose Stephen to talk about. You have an awesome heart Ethan and thank you for sharing it with us!!
