Educate

Educate

Stephen’s three part project to help educate families, educators and children with the issues surrounding homelessness and poverty.  Stephen’s Backpacks wants to get the word out to the world that there are children and families in need. We also want to get the word to these families that they “matter” and that there are caring people just like you that are ready to help them and to share a little HOPE. This project while early in the development stage is really bringing many issues to the forefront…issues that you can help with at the grassroots level by DONATING or by GETTING INVOLVED.

Stephen’s project educate was implemented to provide local families facing financial difficulties with the information and options about how they could enable their children to attend a Pre-school.  If you are a Pre-school owner or a parent having difficulty with sending your child to Pre-school in Airdrie, Alberta you should contact the Director.

One of the joys of this project is to work with Teachers and School Leadership classes that are interested in bringing a “hands on” learning experience to their class or group.  If this unique and special opportunity, that is open to all age groups and available for the Christmas Backpacks season, sounds interesting to you please contact the director for complete information.

The third portion of Stephen’s project will provide information and resources related to job search for young people in families struggling with poverty.
